An extremely versatile vertical or horizontal(clockwise-non-reversing) capstan or general purpose electric winch for use as an anchor winch, pot hauler or davit winch.

The Maxwell Anchormax utilizes a fully sealed gearbox driven by a vertically mounted, high efficiency permanent magnet motor that generates up to 386kg (850lbs) of line pull. Manufactured in durable anodized marine aluminum with chromed manganese bronze top parts. Intrusion below decks is minimised making the design ideal for boats from 5m (16ft) to 10m (32ft).

Note, this windlass is not recommended for hauling chain.
